Jimmy Kerley Band
From the pine tree ladened, winding backroads of Northeast Texas comes the Jimmy Kerley Band. The very backroads and landscapes that lay claim to the songs frontman Jimmy Kerley writes — “I write what I know; and what I know is a nineties rock with country influence and small town relationships.”
Raised in a junkyard and hardened on the railroad, Mikey brings a mix of Country, Rock and Americana to the party.
"I’ve spent the last few years knowing what I wanted to to but was too afraid to make the jump. Then...I jumped...and fell into an ocean of music. Totally worth it, y’all! Play my tunes on your favorite player, request it on the radio and if you’re near one of the venues I’m playin’ come on in and we’ll have a little fun! Just tell me I sent ya!"
Passionate. Talented. Dreamer. These are some of the words that come to mind when describing Brandi Behlen. Brandi is a risk taker with her sound, always challenging herself to set the bar higher. At the same time, her songs have a warm, familiar vibe to them, echoing the tradition of the best country artists. Her voice is energetic, yet uplifting and relatable. Whether she is singing a mellow ballad or an upbeat track, she knows how to hit the spot and create the perfect atmosphere. Through her music, she hopes to inspire people the same way her grandpa and uncles inspired her, as she would sit there as a child awestruck, watching them play their band and charm the audience! Brandi's single, "Daddy's Money", peaked at #31 on Texas Regional Radio Report in 2019. Brandi followed up that single with her rendition of "Blue Christmas". Determination and passion paint the walls of country artist Susan Hickman‘s life, causing fans to recognize these vibrant traits undeniably inspire the way she crafts her music. While these are characteristics most acquire as they mature, they seem to be inherent in Hickman’s ethereal essence. At only the age of five she began playing piano and added violin lessons as well a few short years later. As if two instruments wasn’t enough for a young Hickman to handle, at the age of twenty-one, she began teaching herself to play guitar in the living room of her family home in Atascocita, Texas. Hickman finds a unique way to connect her own voice with the instruments she surrounds herself with and has the ability to create melodies which are very much “Louder Than Words”. At only 12 with no previous experience other than playing and singing in church, Hickman scoured the Yellow Pages for every talent agency in the Houston area and then went on to travel across the country to pursue her dreams. Upon recollecting her journey the first few years Hickman is quick to refer to her mother as a saint from the long business trips to sitting at her shows in the honky-tonks during the early hours of the morning. In 2010, Susan was named CMA Close Up Who New To Watch In 2010 and has mastered the art of live performances. Hickman's energy, can-do attitude, and not to mention her music has allowed her to captivate audiences with various large scale acts such as Miranda Lambert, Jo Dee Messina, Shenandoah, Dean Dillon, Robert Earl Keen & Daryle Singletary. While 2010 was a pivotal year for Hickman it also proved to be a difficult one as well, she relied heavily upon her determination and positive attitude. Because she was playing guitar and singing nearly 10 hours a day between rehearsals and shows, Hickman was left having to get two surgeries. But if you’ve learned one thing about this performance powerhouse, it’s that nothing will stop her mind from taking her where she needs to go, not even her own body. Her injuries did not stop her from developing quite a following in the U.S. and Europe. Susan has played through her pain and entertained audiences at Nashville’s renowned CMA Music Festival and even at France’s 23rd Annual Country Rendez-Vous Festival. Not to mention winning Texas CMA Female Vocalist of The Year 2015. Her last two albums, self titled release Susan Hickman & Louder than Words Vol 1 were both critically acclaimed and received attention from various high level outlets from Country Weekly to Dreamwest. Regarding her single Hell Still Ain’t Frozen Over, Music Row Magazine had this to say— “She’s quite a vocalist, with a delivery as sure and true as an arrow. The throaty breaks in her performance are perfect for the heartache in this finely crafted power ballad. The production builds splendidly in the choruses. Excellent work all around. Well worth your spins and your support.”-Robert K Oermann, Music Row Magazine As Hickman reflects on her gypsy lifestyle she shares she has done a lot of soul searching. She has taken time to discover herself as a person and then as an artist, though she cleverly mentions they often fight with one another. Only in her thirties, Hickman seems wise beyond her years and has a bright career ahead of her. She is a strong role model for women everywhere, showing them anything is possible when you live out your story with a strong will and a big heart.

Johnny Cole Murdock
Who Is Johnny Cole Murdock? a little bit rock & a whole lotta country If you ask Texas native Johnny Cole Murdock, music has always been a huge part of his life: from his earliest memories of singing in church, to picking up a guitar when he was 15, to playing live regularly today, he holds firm to the belief that music is a gift from God showing how beautiful it is when people come together for a common purpose. Life hasn't always been easy for Johnny Cole. Growing up in a broken family caused him to attend ten elementary schools, two middle schools, and five high schools—despite facing the difficulties of that kind of instability, the fire of determination in him never extinguished. At 18, Johnny Cole enlisted in the Air Force. Whatever time he had to spare went toward his music: songwriting, singing, and guitar playing. In 2018, Johnny Cole was honorably discharged with the intent on pursuing music full-time. His status as a singer-songwriter and guitarist today make clear his passion for creating and sharing country music. If you're wondering where to find him, Johnny Cole Murdock can be spotted playing at your favorite honky-tonks and all the local hangouts.
My name is Kendra, but my favorite people call my Kendi. I am an an emerging singer-songwriter here in Texas and I have so much music to share with you guys! I hope you're ready.
I have lived here in Texas most of my life, but I was brought into the world in Mt. Clemens, Michigan - so I like to describe my musical style as "Motown Born but Cowtown Raised". I feel a deep connection to soul music and have always been proud of my connection to Detroit.
Texas though, ya'll, is my home. I moved away for a couple of brief college years to go to Florida State University, but I came right back here. Even thought I grew up a suburb girl, my heart has always been called to the peacefulness of country living. When my kids were still really small, I would always beg for Saturday or Sunday drives just to get out of the hustle and bustle. We would rent cabins, drive down south of Ft. Worth to Glen Rose area, or we would come out to Weatherford to eat on the square and do some Farmer's Market shopping. Now, we live in Parker County with a few acres to love, a few dogs, a garden, and some really quirky chickens who I guess I will claim, too.
Cliché alert: Music has always been in my soul. It is true though. It has been so many things to me: my crutch, my best friend, my escape, my therapy, my passion, my anger outlet, my connection with lovely people, and a very true love. I played keys growing up and through high school. I sang in the choir and competed in State competitions. When the theory of piano surpassed my attention span, I started to write my own music. I composed a couple of classical piano pieces for recitals and such. When it came time for college, my dad let me take his old guitar. I was that hippie-chick on the green space lawn learning every chord and song I could. We were fast friends, me and the guitar. I had chosen Florida State because I received a vocal scholarship, but my music-feels were no longer finding joy in the classical side of things. I decided right away that I was going to drop music as a major. I have no regrets, but I probably would have loved it if I would have stuck it out. In those early song-writing years, the farthest I ever ventured were house parties, a handful of open-mics, and one inadvertent studio session. As life would have it, money was important, so my job, and eventually a family just rolled on in. My first-born brought with her several years of medical and developmental hurdles: A couple of major surgeries as a baby, years of physical and occupational therapies, and a pretty fruitless & endless scavenger hunt for diagnoses that didn't matter much anyway. I won't go into each and every detail, but there were some rough years. We starting using neurological Music Therapy with Sarah Laing and I started working in more and more music with her as she grew up. Now, I am proud to say that I share a stage with her often! She has a beautiful tone and perfect pitch that allows me to harmonize with her like a breeze. It fills my heart so full! She is the reason I started writing again. Lasso The Moon is my song for her. It is pretty special that she is singing on the track, too. Being able to "back her up" during performances really lit that music-fire in my heart again, as well as help me shake off my pretty terrible stage nerves. My husband encouraged me to separate my own music from the duets I was doing with her at the time. That was a tough thing for me to do! It didn't come without ridicule, either. Those haters have to hate, don't they? I battled my self-esteem (and any ties to toxic relationships) to the death! It was extremely important to me to be an example to my children that there are no boundaries to chasing your dreams! If you feel it in your heart, it is worth chasing it! And you are never too ANYTHING: too old, too developmentally delayed, too ANYTHING, to go after your dreams. This year, I wrote 14 original songs and recorded a double album, and my first single, A Real Good Handful, made it to #85 on the Texas Country music Chart during a global pandemic. Then, my single Pony Up made it to #82 before the year end. I am speechless. I am grateful. I am on cloud nine and a half! And I am just getting started.
Thank you for being a part of this with me!
"Homerun" by Chuck Wimer
Homerun is a song about Chuck's life. Growing up on a dirt road and working hard before joining the Army. His time serving in the military brought great friendships and sad losses, but every one of those relationships was worth it. The song is rounded out with Chuck's devotion to family and knowing that for all the good and bad that he has experienced, he has hit that Homerun!
